Lead project management and provide technical guidance through the building and implementation of new and current client platforms or sites.  Continually update Project plan and requirements as they change each year or as often as needed (this includes benefit class matrix, requirements document, rates, permissions, field options, site text and any open items on questions log).  Lead inside sales and marketing activities as including demos and client presentations.  Test client sites for quality assurance; track and monitor the resolution of issues.  Prepare and conduct technical/product presentations, demonstrations and training's (such as an open enrollment demo for new/changing plans, site text, and release functionality changes, etc.)  Provide resolution of client issues by responding to questions and concerns about the use of Benefit Administration products; ability to leverage research to find resolution.  Can work from home if needed but will be on the road at clients doing demos and presentations quite often (Boston, North, West and South). Support employee benefit Consultants/Producers and client service teams as a subject matter expert with client strategy, product innovation, technical training and new business development. Direct client access in providing expertise on underwriting, pricing, plan structure, benefit design and financial viability/analysis of employee health benefits programs.   Provide technical assistance with employee benefits captive renewals and sales process.  Consult with clients regarding self-funded and fully insured claims assessments, product development and M&A due diligence.  Support Consultants/Producers in all financial aspects of servicing existing clients and assist Consultants/Producers with new business opportunities.  Consult with large, complex clients acting as the subject matter expert for issues relating to underwriting, actuarial and financial projections. Assist Producer in all aspects of servicing existing clients and maintaining relationships with key decision makers.  Develop and maintain excellent relationships with insurance company underwriters and representatives to effectively oversee and negotiate the new and renewal marketing process.  Develop and manage strategic project plans for each client’s renewals.  Oversee entire process to ensure all facets of the project are completed in a timely manner.  Advise clients regarding healthcare reinsurance contract options.  Create and present complex custom client contribution models.  Analyze carrier underwriting methodologies, validate carrier recommendations and advise client regarding carrier projections.  Resolve complex, escalated product or service issues quickly.  Effectively communicate all aspects of the Affordable Care Act and other compliance topics such as HIPPA and ERISA.  Manage the client dashboard process, digest the data, create strategy based on the data and present to clients highlighting key health utilization performance areas.  Negotiate program renewals on behalf of client to attain best outcomes.  Work with Analyst to develop strategy and timeline to ensure efficient and effective client outcomes.  Lead Open Enrollment presentations to educate client executive teams (CFO, CEO, and HR Director).  Present and effectively communicate information regarding programs to client populations during Open Enrollment meetings.  Stay apprised of carrier program changes and new programs being offered.  Set expectations with team and clients to ensure that process completion (renewals, issue negotiation, marketing process, etc.) is timely and effective. Relocation assistance available.
